The symposium will be held at the main campus of The University of Western Australia in Crawley. Located adjacent to the Swan River, the campus is easily accessible using the frequent buses provided by TransPerth.
By Bus:
The bus routes that service UWA are as follows:
102, 107, 23, 24, 103 and the 78 (Route 78 begins again on the 21st February 2005 as it only runs during semester), as well as Circle Routes 98, 99 and Subiaco Shuttle 97. Up-to-date timetables can be found at the TransPerth website, or by calling 13 62 13.
By Car:
There are a number of ways to get to the University of Western Australia:
- Stirling Highway: Follow Stirling Highway towards the city, the University is on the right-hand side after the Hampden Road traffic lights.
- Kwinana Freeway: Proceed up the Kwinana Freeway and select the Mounts Bay Road exit. Continue west on Mounts Bay Road until you get to the traffic lights at the Hackett Drive/Mounts Bay Road intersection, the University is on the left hand side.
- Mitchell Freeway/Loftus Street: If using the Mitchell Freeway, select the Loftus Street exit. Head south/southwest down Loftus Street, and once over Railway Parade, Loftus Street becomes Thomas Street. Continue down Thomas Street, Kings Park will appear on your left. At the Aberdare Road traffic lights, Thomas Road becomes Winthrop Avenue. Continue down Winthrop Avenue, as it terminates opposite the University, at Mounts Bay Road.
- Alternatively select the Mounts Bay Road exit from the Mitchell Freeway. Follow it to the traffic lights at Mounts Bay Road and turn left. Continue west on Mounts Bay Road until you get to the traffic lights at the Hackett Drive/Mounts Bay Road intersection, the University is on the left hand side.

The University of Western Australia has three colleges located across the road from the University, these 3 colleges are available for accommodation bookings from Saturday 25th November to Wednesday 29th November 2006. It's on a first come first serve basis, so those who book early have better choice for which room they get.
